Irvine Kentucky Ducky Derby
Get ready for a fun-filled afternoon at the Irvine Kentucky Ducky Derby in Irvine, Kentucky! Join the community on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 at 1:00 PM for an exciting race where rubber ducks compete to cross the finish line under the Green Bridge—giving one lucky winner a $500 cash prize.
This family-friendly event features plenty of Derby Day fun, including a BBQ cookout with the Millers Creek Fire Department, a Pie in the Face fundraiser, and a Derby Hat Contest.
Want to join the race? Ducks are available for $5 each or 5 for $20, with pre-purchase available at Pickers Paradise.
Come out, cheer on your duck, and enjoy a lively day supporting the community!

Celebrate the holiday season at the 22nd Annual Yuletide Arts & Crafts Show, a festive community tradition hosted by the Estill Arts Council. Join us for a full day of shopping, creativity, and holiday cheer in the heart of Irvine.
Browse a wide variety of artisan booths featuring handmade gifts, décor, and unique creations—perfect for your holiday shopping. Enjoy delicious food concessions and take part in our popular silent auction showcasing handcrafted items from local makers. Bring the whole family and don’t miss a special visit from Santa Claus, with photo opportunities available.
Admission is simple: a $1 donation or one can of food at the door. All food donations benefit the Estill County Food Bank. The venue is handicap accessible. Come experience the warmth, creativity, and community spirit of Yuletide—we can’t wait to see you there!
